About

A quiz that gets you, not the group chat

ilmlink is a science-backed career quiz for Pakistani students. You answer a few honest questions, get a three-letter career personality, and see paths that fit you, not everyone else’s idea of success.

What is ilmlink

Career discovery that starts with who you are

A few honest questions about what you enjoy. In about three minutes you get a three-letter career personality and directions that fit you, not what sounds impressive at home.

It follows Holland’s Self-Directed Search, tested with 690 Pakistani students across seven cities. Scholarships and community are optional next steps, not a sales funnel.

Who built it

Times Consultant and Times TX

ilmlink is a joint project: career guidance on the ground in Pakistan, and a product studio that built the quiz students actually use.

  • Introduced in Pakistan

    Times Consultant

Times Consultant is a study-abroad and career advisory network based in Pakistan, with counsellors across the country. They help students choose programmes, scholarships, and destinations, and they brought Holland’s Self-Directed Search into local guidance so the first question is who you are, not only what is available.

They led the psychometric study behind ilmlink: 690 undergraduates aged 18 to 26 across Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Peshawar. That work is why the quiz can be used here with evidence, not just a familiar brand name.

  • Designed and built

    Times TX

Times TX is a digital product studio in Hamburg. They designed and built ilmlink: the quiz, your results, and the student tools around it, from the three-letter code to the community alongside it.

The same team built Times Course Finder, the course and scholarship search that sits next to the quiz. Career discovery on one side, real programmes on the other, without turning the quiz into a pitch.

Together they backed the validation of Holland's Self-Directed Search among Pakistani youth, the research behind Our study.
