The service

ilmlink is a career-discovery quiz and student lounge for people exploring study and work, with a focus on Pakistan. It is introduced by Times Consultant and designed and operated by Times TX.

Who it is for

You need an account to save quiz results, post in the community, or manage a profile. You are responsible for the email and password you use, and for activity on the account.

If you are not old enough to agree to these terms on your own where you live, a parent or guardian should review them with you before you sign up.

The quiz and results

The quiz is inspired by Holland’s RIASEC framework and the structure of the Self-Directed Search. It is a guidance tool. It is not the official SDS instrument published by PAR Inc., and it is not a substitute for a certified career counsellor, psychologist, or other professional.

Results describe tendencies and career families that often fit those patterns. They are not a diagnosis, a guarantee of admission, a job offer, or advice about a specific university, visa, or scholarship. You decide what to do with them.

Student community

The lounge is for education topics: universities, admissions, scholarships, careers, quiz results, and study. Guests can read. Students can post, comment, and vote when signed in.

• Stay on those topics. Memes, dating, gossip, and spam do not belong here.
• Be decent to other students. No harassment, hate, or personal attacks.
• Do not share other people’s private details, or content you do not have the right to post.
• Do not try to game votes, scrape the site, or bypass limits.
• Your public profile shows name, photo, bio, and interests only. Posts live on the feed, not on that profile.

We may edit, hide, or remove posts and comments, and we may limit or close accounts that break these rules. Automated filters catch some off-topic language; they are not perfect. Report problems through Contact.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law or use ilmlink to harm others.
• Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the site.
• Do not copy the quiz items, scoring, or design for another product without permission.
• Do not impersonate ilmlink, Times Consultant, Times TX, or another student.

Accounts

Keep your password to yourself. You can update your profile, change notification preferences, and delete (deactivate) your account in Account settings. We may suspend or close an account for abuse, security, or to comply with the law.

Scholarships and other sites

Links to Times Course Finder, Times Consultant, Times TX, and other sites are there as next steps. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their content, admissions decisions, or funding outcomes.

Intellectual property

ilmlink, the quiz experience, branding, and site content belong to the operators or their licensors. You keep the rights to text you post, and you give us a licence to host and display it so the community can work. Holland’s theory and the official SDS remain with their respective owners.

Disclaimers

The site is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free results, or that a particular career or programme will suit you. Career and study decisions have many inputs beyond a three-letter code.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Times Consultant, Times TX, and the people behind ilmlink are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make after using the quiz, community, or linked scholarship tools. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top is the latest version. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the site and delete your account.
